Roll Tide Everyone!

BAMA opened SEC last Saturday with an impressive win against Vanderbilt.  I can’t remember ever watching a game where one team completely dominated the whole game. We got to see six running backs get playing time (Damien Harris, Scarbrough, Jacobs, Najee Harris, Robinson, and Clark, who is listed as a tight end). Quality SEC playing time for these young players was awesome to see.

Of course, Roll Tide Chicago is more than football. We have met our goal of having two endowed scholarships. One is for a Chicagoland freshman and the second includes all of Illinois, but also went to a Chicagoland freshman this year. The National Alumni Association reported that 226 freshman scholarships were given to students from out of state in 2016 and the NAA awarded more than $4.8 million in assistance to 2,600 students last year. This is why your membership in RTC, whether alumni, fan, or family is vital. The proceeds from dues, merchandise sales, squares/raffles, etc. go to our scholarship fund.  If you would like to find out about helping endow a third scholarship, contact Jack at 630-200-0319 orjack_ayers@hotmail.com for more information.

Please visit our tables to get your membership and BAMA merchandise.
