Hello, fellow alums and Bama friends. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with everybody in Tuscaloosa and the state of Alabama right now. I sincerely hope everyone you care about is safe.
I wanted to you all know that Roll Tide Chicago will be sending a donation in support of relief efforts to the West Alabama/Tuscaloosa chapter of the Red Cross. A portion of chapter membership dues is always held onto for unexpected emergencies, and this certainly qualifies. So thank you for your membership, because it allows us to help those in need right now.

Tornado Relief Fundraiser
We will be hosting a fundraiser at the Houndstooth on Friday, May 6 from 6-9 p.m. For $20, you get all-you-can-drink domestic drafts and well drinks. And $10 of that will be donated to the Red Cross. So stop by on your way home from work, or on your way out to your evening plans. But do stop by. You’re probably going to have a couple drinks anyway, you might as well do it for a good cause!
If you can’t make it to the fundraiser on Friday, you can donate directly to the Alabama Red Cross:
Finally, some of the Roll Tide Chicago board members appeared on NBC and ABC, giving our local response to the story. (NBC spelled my name wrong, but what am I gonna do?) If either channel puts the stories online, we will post them to our web page for your viewing pleasure.

Please see the two links below for donations. One is the Alabama Red Cross. The other is the UA’s Act of Kindness Fund.
