If you haven’t paid your dues and received your free t-shirt, you can do so on www.rolltidechicago.com. A portion of your dues goes directly toward the scholarship fund each year. Our fund is almost large enough where we can give away an annual scholarship. Once we reach that point, the chapter will received a framed certificate and will be honored in a ceremony at the annual National Alumni Association meeting. Our Vice President, Laura Jansen, attended this year’s meeting during Homecoming weekend, and she said that the scholarship presentations were very moving. So pay that dues (and buy those raffle tickets!) so that we can reach that goal and be honored at the 2010 meeting.
Please note that if you joined last year, you will need to re-join this year. It is $20 for a single (one free t-shirt) and $30 for a family (two free t-shirts).
Update 11/16/2009: We will no longer be accepting our charity raffle tickets online.
Just like we have done in the past we are going to be doing a raffle for our two charities. Half of the money is going towards our scholarship fund and the rest is going towards our MS team. Besides a signed Nick Saban ball we are working on other prizes. If you would like to donate towards to the raffle please let me know.
We are going to start the raffle next week for the South Carolina game and it will run until at least the SEC championship. Tickets will be $2 dollars each and you can buy as many as you’d like.
